Home education instructional program (k-8)
program overview
XILA ACADEMY LLC provides an in-person Home Education Instructional Program designed to support and enrich the education of home education students in grades K–8. The program is selected by parents as part of their parent-directed home education or PEP scholarship participation. This program is not a private school, public school, charter, or virtual school. Parents remain fully responsible for directing their child’s education and maintaining required home education records.
course description
Language Arts (English & Spanish): Reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and oral communication.
Mathematics: Number sense, operations, problem-solving, and applied mathematics.
Science: Life, earth, and physical science through observation and hands-on activities.
Social Studies: History, geography, culture, and civic understanding.
Enrichment & Applied Learning: Hands-on projects, cultural studies, and interdisciplinary learning.
LANGUAGES: SPANISH, FRENCH OR PORTUGUESE TO CHOOSE FROM.
Full-Week Instructional Program with in-person instruction up to five days per week in a small-group learning environment. Participation is parent-selected as part of a home education program.
